Show Home Launches This Weekend At Abel Homes Site In Dereham

Norfolk house builder Abel Homes launches its latest site this weekend, with the opening of the show home at The Carriages in Dereham.
Eleven new homes are being released this weekend: a mixture of two-, three- and four-bedroom houses with prices ranging from £260,000 to £500,000.
A total of 216 energy-efficient family homes will be built on the site, which is on Swanton Road to the northeast of the town. A quarter of the new homes will be provided as affordable homes.
The new homes will all have the top ‘A’ rating for energy efficiency, including features such as photo-voltaic solar panels, air source heat pumps, underfloor heating, triple glazing and high levels of insulation. Each home will also feature direct fibre broadband alongside an electric car charging point.
The new site will include public open spaces, including a multi-use games area, as well as a piece of public artwork commissioned from a local artist – something which Abel Homes has done on every site it has built since 2008.
Abel Homes sales and marketing manager Clare Cornish said, “We are delighted to be opening our show home at The Carriages, which is a site where we have already seen considerable interest from prospective buyers.
“Being adjacent to Neatherd Moor makes this an extremely attractive site. The Moor is one of Dereham’s most treasured gems, a peaceful expanse of heathland and woodland – it is both a haven for wildlife and a cherished resource for the local community, which I am sure our new homeowners will enjoy being on their doorstep.”.
“We are expecting this initial release of 11 homes to be very popular and well received, so we would urge anyone interested to come and see them for themselves this weekend.”
Details of the new homes at the Carriages in Dereham can be found at www.abelhomes.co.uk/developments/swanton-road-dereham. The show home and sales office open on Friday 7th March, and are then open Thursday to Monday, 10am-4pm.
