Norfolk Property Group Strengthens Board To Meet Challenges Of Growth
Watton-based Abel Group has strengthened its Board with three new appointments and a new business venture. Paul LeGrice is appointed managing director of house builder Abel Homes Ltd, Chris Abel takes on an additional directorship within Abel Properties and Noel Bartram joins the Group Board as a non-executive director.
Chartered accountant Mr LeGrice joined the company in 2009 from accountancy firm Larking Gowen. He became finance and operations director and joined the Board in 2011.
Mr Bartram is former group chief executive of Bernard Matthews, a company he worked for over more than four decades. He joins the group Board to advise on the business of all three Group companies.
Chris Abel continues to strengthen the group's renewable energy business, Abel Energy, by opening a new bio-fuel division, Abel Biofuels, supplying premium wood chip and wood pellets.
Founder Tony Abel will remain chairman of the group, which encompasses the Group’s expanding construction and renewable operations.
