Norfolk House Builder Appoints New Finance Manager

Norfolk-based house builder Abel Homes has appointed Nick Ward as finance manager.

Mr Ward, who is a Chartered Certified Accountant, joins the firm after nine years with leading regional accountants Larking Gowen, where he was most recently part of the Corporate Audit and Advisory team working out of the firm’s Norwich head office.

Originally from Cromer, Mr Ward studied Business, specialising in Management Science, at London Southbank University before returning to his home county to pursue his career and his professional qualifications.

Abel Homes managing director Paul LeGrice, who was himself formerly with Larking Gowen (and was in fact one of Mr Ward’s first managers), commented, “We are delighted to bring on board someone with Nick’s professional qualifications and experience as finance manager, which is a vital position as we continue to grow as a company.”
