Abel Homes appoints new Commercial Manager

Abel Homes has appointed Peter Chellis to the new post of commercial manager, responsible for contracts management and quantity surveying across the firm’s construction sites.  The creation of the role reflects rapid expansion in the company, we announced earlier this month that we have sold as many houses in the first third of 2014 as we did in the whole of 2013.

Mr Chellis has extensive experience in the industry, including working for a global cost consultancy in the construction industry, and time spent as surveying manager for two house builders in East Anglia.  He also spent two years in a similar role on the Olympics site in east London.

Born and bred in Norfolk, he is a keen fisherman, with his biggest ever catch being a nine-foot shark off the beach in Namibia.  He is a Norwich City season ticket holder.
