We at Abel Homes are proud of the company we have built over the years; from its inception in the early 1990’s to the present day, we have continually worked to create a reputation for well specified, high quality new homes on small developments around the beautiful county of Norfolk. Each home we build is distinctive and individual, yet designed for practical living with low maintenance. And each comes with the peace of mind of a ten year NHBC guarantee.

Although the company has grown over the years, we still hold tight to the tenets of the small, family owned business we are at heart - principal amongst these is the importance of customer service at all times. As a smaller, independent company we have the ability to offer a personalised service to each individual customer, often finishing a home to the customer’s specific taste. We pride ourselves on our flexibility to incorporate customer choices to ensure that each home is personal both inside and out.  Our  Customer Charter  has been developed to illustrate how we care and look after each prospective home owner at every stage, before, during and after the purchase.

We also care about the environment in which we live and work. We develop primarily brown-field sites where the resulting regeneration enhances the surroundings and brings new life to the local community; to ensure we achieve an outcome sympathetic to the existing neighbourhood, we carefully select architects with the necessary local knowledge and experience. We have developed a  Good Neighbour Charter  to ensure that we minimise any impact on the local community whilst we are building new homes. We are always keen to hear from people with land for sale, so if you think your back garden or larger piece of land could have potential for residential development, please do  get in touch. 

Without its  people,  Abel Homes wouldn’t be where it is today. We regard staff support and development as critical in enabling us to provide the quality of service that we have become known for. Amongst other initiatives, we offer a 3 year Carpentry Apprenticeship Scheme leading to a National Vocational Qualification.

Our relationship with our customers does not end once they have purchased a new home from us. All our homes are covered by a 10 year  NHBC guarantee,  and we personally oversee any qualifying remedial repairs during the first two years. We have a dedicated member of staff to coordinate any repairs or to solve any problems you may experience with your new home, with ‘out of hours’ telephone numbers in case of emergency. A complete owner’s pack, including full details of guarantees is presented to the purchaser upon completion. We are pleased to be a member of the Norfolk Construction Training Group, and subscribers to the Considerate Constructors Scheme.
